Applications are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format for the following teaching/non-teaching position in the University. The application form alongwith details of essential qualifications, pay-scale, general instructions and conditions etc. can be downloaded from the University Website http://www.hau.ernet.in. The duly filled in application form alongwith attested photo
copies of required certificates and documents should be received at the address “The Registrar, CCS HAU, Hisar-125004-02” on or before 11.11.2013 upto 4.30 p.m.(26.11.2013 upto 4.30 p.m. for candidates residing abroad ). Application processing fee in the shape of a bank draft of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 190/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG of Haryana) for the posts at Sr. No. 1 to 48, Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG of Haryana) for the posts at Sr. No.49 to 62 and Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG of Haryana) for the posts at Sr. No. 63 to 65 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, CCS HAU, Hisar” and payable at Hisar should be attached with each application form. No amount
will be accepted through cheque, cash, money-order or postal-order. Persons with disabilities of Haryana shall be exempted from payment of application processing fee:-


Assistant Librarian
Masters degree in Library and Information Science/ Documentation.Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the  eligibility test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, ASRB or similar test accredited by the UGC. Note: For the candidates having Masters degree, NET shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in refereed journal for recruitment to the post of
Assistant Librarian. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. Degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has atleast two full length publications on or before the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. without course work will not qualify for NET exemption
