J. Librarian (1 Post) OPEN – Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000 with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.10000.i. A Master’s Degree in Library Science /Information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven points scale and consistently good academic record set out in these Regulations.ii. At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a university library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian.iii. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work.iv. Desirable: A. Deputy Librarian, Tuljapur Campus (1 Post) OPEN – Pay Band Rs.15600-39100, Academic Grade Pay Rs.8000.i) Master’s Degree in library science/information science/documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.ii) Five years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library, Digital Library Management.iv) Desirable: An M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree in library science/Information science /Documentation/Archives and manuscript-keeping/computerization of library/working knowledge of Digital Library environment.v) Preference will be given to candidates with PG Diploma in Digital Library or PG Diploma in Library Automation & Networking.vi) A minimum score of 300 points as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in the UGC Regulation 2010 in Appendix III.
