Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma for filling up the following posts at this Institute ON DIRECT RECRUITMENT BASIS with the following prescribed criteria:- 

Post: Library Attendant Grade-II

No. of Posts: 02 (01-UR, 01-OBC) 

Pay Scale: ( PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs.1900) 

Essential eligibility criteria; 

1) Matriculation or equivalent 

2) Experience of having worked in a Library for at least 2 year  Or 

Certificate in Library Science/ Librarianship from a recognised Institution. 

Desirable eligibility criteria: Knowledge of Typing 

Age Limit: 30 years

Fee Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for General and OBC candidates & Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) for SC/ST candidates Bank Draft in favour of Director,  AIIMS payable at Delhi/New Delhi 

Physically Handicapped candidates } Exempted 

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 year for SC/ST candidates & Government Servant, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for the Physically Handicapped Persons Relaxable upto 40years in case of employees of AIIMS. The upper age limit shall be determined as on the

VACANCY OF LIBRARIAN AT AIIMS, NEW DELHI

Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma for filling up the following posts at this Institute on deputation basis with the following prescribed criteria:-

Chief Librarian: (Pay Band PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.8700)

Eligibility criteria:
Officers under the Central/State/U.T. Governments/Universities/Statutory, Autonomous Bodies or Research and Development Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis with at least 5/8 years of regular service in the post in the scale of Rs.12000-37516500/ Rs.10000-325-15200 respectively, or equivalent and possessing the following qualifications and experience;

Essential:

i) Atleast a second class Master’s Degree in Science (preferably in Biological Sciences) of a recognised University or equivalent; 

ii) Degree or equivalent Diploma in Lib. Science of a recognised Institution or University; and

iii) 7 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a library of standing.

Desirable:

i) Master’s Degree in Library Science;

ii) Training in Medical Librarianship;

iii) Experience of documentation work in a responsible capacity;

iv) Knowledge of Sanskrit and any modern European language other than English

(Period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years)

Age Limit: 56 Years
