Central University of Kerala (CU-Kerala) is one of the 16 Central Universities established under “The Central Universities Act, 2009. It started functioning at Kasaragod the northern region of Kerala.
CU-Kerala's Science Schools for Biological, Mathematical and Physical Sciences functions at the Riverside campus at Kanhangad, about 20 kilometres south of Vidyanagar. Kasaragod is the most serene and peaceful region of Kerala, which is considered as the God’s own country. The Village

Post: Deputy Librarian:
(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and a consistently good academic record.
(ii) Five years’ experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian
(iii) Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and professional commitment, computerization of library
(iv) Desirable: A M.Phil/Ph.D Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation/Archives and Manuscript-Keeping/Computerization of Library.
